Schoolie Striped Bass Original Watercolor Painting
Striped Bass, Morone saxatilis
Small "schoolie" stripers like this have astonishing markings and will be a perfect accent to your kitchen's decor. The original painting used to make these prints was painted from a fish Nick caught on a fly on Fishers Island, NY. This is one of those paintings where Nick feels the stars aligned and he really captured the shine and essence of this fish. This painting was started at a live demo at StriperFest in Falmouth, MA.
Price includes museum-quality framing including UV-blocking glass. The original painting's image is 14 1/2" wide x 5 1/2" tall and framed size is 21" wide x 12" tall.
My mission as an artist is to inspire an appreciation for and curiosity about nature and its creatures by communicating the aesthetic beauty of this planet’s amazing creatures as they really are.
It is my hope that this appreciation will result in acts of empathy & stewardship towards these incredible creatures portrayed in my paintings.
