I am completely stoked and humbled as the Spring issue of Anglers Journal just hits shelves. This is another banger issue with some really unique and artistic spins that probe the question of why we fish. I owe a huge thanks to Mark Freedman and Leif Neubauer for helping to land this beast of a fish--it was a team effort and an epic adventure 100 miles offshore on the edge of the continent. I also owe Mark a big thanks for his help on the editing front--he was a great help specifically in terms of the technical details of our equipment, etc. A solid thanks to editor Bill Sisson as well--I admire Bill's writing in a big way and his labor of love, this magazine itself, is a huge inspiration to me.
